Denturists examine the patients; and design, create and repair dentures. The job involves working with small tools, manually operated or electric operated.
A denturist must have excellent fine motor skills so that he can work with the dentures. He should be creative enough to design a genuine-looking set of teeth. Denturist Skills/Duties

Each state has different rules about the licensing requirements. Certification from the National Board for Certification in Dental Laboratory Technology is available. To become a Certified Dental Technician, 2 years of post vocational school experience is compulsory. Also, the successful completion of 2 written exams and one practical exam are a must.
