Diagnostic medical sonographers work with ultrasound waves to assist in the diagnosis various disorders. These professionals are also called ultrasound technologists. Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Skill/Duties

Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Education and Training
• To become a diagnostic sonographer, you need to attain either a certificate, associate's or bachelor's degree, which takes 1 year, 2 years and 4 years to finish, respectively.
• Additional certification and registration is necessary.
• The Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) has accredited 150 training courses for Ultrasound Technology or Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
