Of all fields of engineering, a facilities engineer may be the least understood. Facilities Engineer Resume – Qualifications and Skills

Having a skill in the proper management and maintenance of systems and the programs used by the company is vital. However, above and beyond those qualifications, this portion of the resume allows the candidate to cite specific skills or characteristics that would not necessarily be part and parcel of work history or educational background. For instance, a facilities engineer would be ‘highly analytical,’ and able to ‘project future needs in production.’ Any inherent personal characteristics or personality traits should be listed here, “excellent in time management and interpersonal communications.” Perhaps the candidate is proficient in CAD software, Excel and MS Project.
