United States applicants need to be U.S. citizens aged 18 to 23 (should not be 24 on the year of application). They should also be outstanding students and a representative of one of the 50 states. Applicants should secure an application package from their school or from the Rhodes Trust’s Office of the American Secretary, and at the same time, secure an endorsement from their school, with 5 to 8 letters of recommendations. Transcripts and a 1000-word essay will also be required. Send the application form and the requirements to the State Secretary before the deadline.
