After getting an F-1 visa, international students can enter the USA legally. Documents for Visa Extension
Students are expected to submit several documents for an F-1 visa extension. They are the DS156 form or form DSI60. This is the application form for a nonimmigrant visa. Other forms include form DS 157 and 158, a valid passport, recent photographs, previous and recently issued I-20, and any other documents the school or government requests. The original financial documents should show that funds are available throughout the stay.
