Human Resource Assistant Job Duties

1) Reviews resumes, identify potential candidates and route them to the HR Manager
2) Works directly under the Human Resource Manager
3) Assists in recruitment and orientation of new employees
4) Participates in interviews for selection of candidates
5) Identifies fresh and competent talents inside and outside the industry
6) Assists in identifying training programs
7) Prepares schedules for training of various employees
8) Organizes trainings, presentation, internal meetings and other interactive sessions related to the profitable growth of the industry
9) Maintains and updates personnel records of employees
10) Maintains leave of absence, time off requests, etc of all employees
11) Maintains confidentiality reports and profiles
12) Engages in problem-solving at the lower levels
13) Handles minor conflicting issues and situations independently
14) Maintains correspondence between different departments
15) Assists the HR Manager in research projects
16) Assists in creating a healthy work atmosphere
17) Administrative duties as directed by the HR Manager
18) Coordinates staff activities
19) Prepares reports
Human Resource Assistant Knowledge and Skills
1) Ability to manage workflow
2) Good research skills
3) Good interpersonal and administrative skills
4) Knowledge of basic computer skills, like MS word and excel
5) Good analytical and problem-solving skills
6) Knowledge of reputable search engines and social network to promote or increase the brand value of the industry.
7) Good command over language to handle all internal correspondence
8) Knowledge of current trends in keeping the staff involved in organizational activities
Human Resource Assistant Educational Qualification and Experience
1) A high school degree or General Equivalent Diploma
2) A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent
3) Minimum 3 years of experience in recruiting will be an added advantage
4) At least 1 year experience in human resources in payroll system is helpful
Human Resource Assistant Salary and Benefits
1) Some organizations pay Human Resource Assistants on an hourly basis; the remuneration varies from $15 to $18 an hour.
2) Human Resource Assistants hired on full time bases earn an annual income ranging from $35,000 to $40,000 and are entitled to a health insurance.
