|
Here you will find the perfect Actors Resume format to help
you write your Actors Resume in a professional format.
An actors resume format will help you lay out your resume in a way that is impressive and captures the attention of a casting director or agent. Whether you have never written an actors resume before or just need to brush up on your skills, you want to do the best job possible. Below you will find an actors resume format that can be customized according to your level of experience, so that you can highlight your skills and talents in the best possible light.
1. List personal and contact information at the top of your actors resume. Place your name, website if applicable and contact information at the top of the page, centered:
Jane Doe
website address
email address
SAG
Next, you want to list physical characteristics on the left-hand side of your resume. This should include height, weight, hair color and eye color. Some people choose to include a head shot of themselves as well. On the right-hand side of your actors resume, you want to include your representatives or agents name and address, along with city, state zip and telephone number.
2. Experience in films, television, etc. In this section of your resume, you want to list information pertaining to any acting you have done in films, television, commercials and theater. This should be laid out in 3 columns like the example below:
Film
| Name of film | Part you played | Production Company |
Commercials
| Product advertised | Role | Production Company |
List any television or theater experience in the same manner as above.
3. List any actor training or courses you have taken. This is done using 3 columns as well.
Training
Name of school or course Loyd's House of Acting | Type of training Methods of acting | Location Los Angeles, CA |
4. Special skills or talents that lend to your ability as an actor. This section should highlight any training, education or courses pertaining to your acting career. Many television and move roles require the actor to be involved in action or dance scenes, or even speak in a foreign language. If you have taken dance lessons, are fluent in another language, or are skilled in martial arts, motorcycle riding or anything else that lends to your skills as an actor, list it here.
Casting directors and agents desire actors who can bring character and believability to a role. Any experience, talents or skills that you can highlight on your actors resume will increase the chances of your securing the part. The actors resume format above will help you create a resume that is compelling and highlights your abilities in a way that make you stand apart from the competition.
