If you work within an industry that requires on-going education to keep current, or have worked for longer than 10 years, the two page resume may be your best bet.
Whichever you choose, there are some important guidelines to remember. Always showcase the accomplishments, qualifications and talents you possess that make you the perfect candidate for the job. Don't include details or information that is irrelevant to the position for which you are applying. Once you have completed your resume, proofread it several times and edit wherever you can to make things brief while still clearly communicating your point.
When it comes to resume length, summarize your career qualifications, employment history, special skills and educational background in a way that gets you noticed, yet doesn't go in to great detail. Employers are impressed by a resume that looks professional, and is organized in a way that is easy to scan in only seconds.
