A taker can be a variety of different things. For example, you may recognize the title of census taker as the men and women who are employed by the U.S. government. They are responsible for collecting the necessary data required to study the current American population. With very few similarities, another type of taker is the ticket taker. Usually stationed at an event entrance gate, a ticket taker collects tickets from event attendants while effectively counting the guests. They are also responsible for maintaining the flow of the venue lobby and granting access to guests.

When browsing online for taker resume samples, you may be hard pressed to find much information on a specialized position for the taker. Due to a broad assortment of jobs and related industry positions for the role of a taker, it is almost impossible to find exactly what you are looking for. How to Write a Taker Resume
When writing your resume, consider the specialized field in which you are wishing to enter and or are applying for. Pinpoint and record the qualities and qualifications that make you a solid candidate for the open position. Regardless of how it may be defined, the role of taker is commonly classified as a position of direct customer service.

Largely dependent upon your location, the census taker’s salary can fluctuate through territories. An entry-level census taker in Dallas Texas is projected to earn $10.50 per hour. A seasoned or veteran census taker stands to earn a bit more, and can achieve a salary of up to $17.75 an hour. Other salaries will vary according to the specific position.
